I started making my own correspondence cards when I couldn’t find unfussy, good quality, reasonably priced ones anywhere. After making them for friends and family as gifts I was approached by a friend who wanted to source the cards I had given her daughter. She didn’t realise I had made them myself and as I had broken my leg she asked if I could make up 15 sets for her to give as Christmas presents. My little cottage industry began in East Anglia. Until 2020 I only sold through word of mouth or local craft and charity Christmas fairs. Like many small businesses during covid I built a website and instagram account and started taking orders online.
In October 2023 I added hairband bracelets to my shop, they look great in the hair and on the wrist, come in a huge choice of colours and can be made up with initials or charms. They have been unbelievably popular across every age range and are now also stocked in a variety shops across the country.
