From her early days on the beat in Avon and Somerset Police to becoming Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Julie has led with courage, innovation and dedication. Her honours include an OBE for her outstanding leadership in national security and gender equality, and the Queen’s Police Medal for her exceptional contribution to policing.
A passionate advocate for equality, she served as President of the British Association of Women in Policing for a decade, leading significant progress for women in leadership across the profession.
Today, as Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, she continues to champion communities and causes close to her heart
