The journey of Lulu & Nat started 20 years ago when my husband and I set out on a life-changing adventure by moving to India. It was here that Lulu & Nat was born.
Living in India became a personal re-discovery for the vivid, colourful printed textiles of the Sub-continent. Whilst on assignment in Jaipur, we were lucky enough to meet some inspiring people who introduced us to the crafts of block printing & tapestry embroidery. We took the opportunity to explore these techniques and to test modern expressions through these ancient crafts. From here, we set about our goal to create a bold, vivid collection: Driven by colour & inspired by India.
