The Presents Galore Committee is proud to announce it has raised more than £58,000 for three important charities: Cambridge Children’s Hospital, National Horseracing Museum and Newmarket Charitable Foundation, during last year’s three-day shopping extravaganza.
Held annually at Rowley Mile Racecourse, the festive shopping event has been a highlight of the local calendar since 1987, bringing together independent retailers, artisan makers and visitors from across the region to kick off the Christmas season while supporting good causes.
Taking place between 28 – 30 November, the 2025 event welcomed more than 4,500 visitors across the weekend, creating a lively and festive atmosphere while raising vital funds for charity.
The 2025 fair also welcomed a new headline sponsor Streets Bloodstock Accountants, specialist to the bloodstock and equine industry. Their support helped make the event an even greater success, and the organisers are delighted that the Streets team will continue as headline sponsor for the 2026 event.
Funds raised will help support the development of the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital, which will provide world-class, specialist care for children and young people across the East of England. Proceeds will also contribute to the work of the National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket, which celebrates and preserves the heritage of British horseracing, and the Newmarket Charitable Foundation, which supports a wide range of community projects and charitable initiatives in the town.
Hon Frances Stanley, Chairman of the Presents Galore Committee, said: “Presents Galore has always been about bringing people together to enjoy a wonderful festive event while making a real difference locally. To have raised over £58,000 this year for three such important organisations is incredibly rewarding, and we are enormously grateful to our sponsors, visitors, exhibitors and volunteers who continue to support the fair year after year.”
Event organiser Penny Nicoll added: “Each year the fair grows thanks to the fantastic community around it. The atmosphere, the brilliant independent stalls and the knowledge that every ticket helps support these charities make Presents Galore a very special event. Welcoming more than 4,500 visitors last year shows just how popular it has become, and we’re already looking forward to another fantastic weekend in November.”
This year’s Presents Galore Christmas Fair will take place from 27–29 November 2026 at the Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket. Visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of gift, food, home and lifestyle exhibitors – perfect for festive shopping.
Early bird tickets will go on sale on 1 August 2026.
