Event Organiser Penny Nicoll joined the team behind West Suffolk's Young Trader Competition recently, offering finalists the opportunity to join Presents Galore 2024. Blown away by the talent on display at the Newmarket Heat, Penny commented: "We are very excited to announce that we will be providing a dedicated area for the Young Trader Finalists at this year's Presents Galore. A first for us, please do come along and show your support of these wonderfully talented individuals. We're incredibly proud to be supporting Cambridge Children's Hospital (CCH) once again as one of our three chosen charities for Presents Galore 2024 🎁 Cambridge Children’s Hospital will be a new hospital for the East of England, currently the only region in the UK without a dedicated children’s hospital. It will be the first in the world to integrate mental and physical healthcare, underpinned by world leading research, and will have a life-changing impact on millions of children and young people regionally, nationally and globally. Commenting on CCH's involvement, Donna Lee-Willis, Head of Community Fundraising at Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, said: "This is the third year that Presents Galore will be supporting ACT as a charity and after this year we look set to have raised nearly £100,000, which we are absolutely delighted about. It's such a great event as there are so many stalls for shoppers, with everything from gifts, clothing, food and drink but what it means for us is that anyone who comes along to support the event is also supporting their local hospital, helping to fund pioneering research and high-tech equipment which will benefit the whole community. As for me personally, my favourite thing about the day is all the food and drink stalls and being able to buy products from the local community."
