What a better way to start the week, than celebrating the grand total raised at Presents Galore 2024. We're over the moon to announce that the three-day festive shopping extravaganza we all love and adore raised £65,642!
A staggering amount that will now be split between our three beneficiaries - the Cambridge Children's Hospital, Newmarket Charitable Foundation and the National Horseracing Museum.
An incredible year, 2024 welcomed thousands through the doors to explore over 120 stalls, as well as brand new area for the finalists of the West Suffolk Young Traders Competition. With 100% of ticket sales, a thoroughly supported raffle and donations made by those exhibiting monies will now go to each respective charity to help continue the work they do in our community.
Commenting on the event, Head of Community Fundraising for the Cambridge Children's Hospital, Donna Lee-Willis, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the committee at Presents Galore for supporting the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital, which will have a life-changing impact on children, young people and their families across the East of England and beyond.
“We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a world-leading hospital that will transform healthcare as we know it. To do this we need the support of fundraisers like the presents galore committee who have raised just over £85,000 for us in just 3 years. We are looking forward to working with them in 2025. Thank you so much to the committee and all that attend this wonderful event who have enabled such a significant amount to be raised.”
Having been a part of Newmarket’s festive heritage sine 1987, Presents Galore has raised over £300,000 in the last five years alone since the current committee was created and a restricting of the event took place. An enormous amount made possibly by the wonderful support of shoppers and stallholders alike.
With plans already underway for 2025, with over 80 stalls already signed up we are now looking forward to another successful year. Please save the dates 28th - 30th November and keep an eye out for our early bird tickets which will go on sale on 1st August.

Wonder what's at Presents Galore? Here's just a selection of some of our fantastic stallholders 🎁 Come along to see more today and tomorrow. We're open until 5pm today and 10am - 4pm tomorrow.
100% of ticket sales are donated toCambridge Children's Hospital, Newmarket Charitable Foundation and the National Horse Racing Museum, and include free returns if you want to visit multiple times. There's free parking on site, lots of edible delights and mulled wine and cider here for the ultimate festive feels.
Tickets can be purchased online or on the door.
